“Good as you’re going to get “ isn’t saying much. How close is it? What percent of the benefits do you get?My gosh, am I supposed to bitterly complain to Fidelity and Vanguard that my REIT investments aren't really Real Estate investments because I don't get calls about plugged toilets at three o'clock in the morning? Sheesh. It is as good as you are going to get with securities. The whole purpose of owning REITs rather than direct Real Estate is to get the benefits of investing in Real Estate without the management headaches.
