The most important thing to me is documented service history (both from dealer and carfax), if I see all service done at or before manufacturer recommendations, that's a good sign the vehicle was well taken care of by a responsible person. The 2nd most important is a pre inspection (I'm emphasizing pre, not post) by a good independent mechanic, preferably one that specializes or has high knowledge in Honda/Acura. They may know problem areas and early warning signs to look for (even at 30K and car still in warranty). Those two things combined are going to be superior to a CPO, IMHO, and opens the inventory up to other dealers.
