On the main page, look for 'Additional Inputs' link on the right side. Then, list spouse's SS as a line income item. Any additional income or expenses, can be listed as a line item, which I do for my wife's SS. I also list 'x' dollars as a vacation expense for 'x' of years & a 'x' dollars as an expense for a new car in 4 years. One thing I like is it easy to model these additional items, simple by checking the box to include these items or not, without having to reenter them for future modeling.I have a NewRetirement but would like to give try to another tool for comparison purposes. I was looking at it and seems there is no way to enter spouse's info. How to handle mine vs her ss. Does the tool handle taxes etc when one us dies?
Yes, FRP does require you to enter/change a few more parameters such as tax rates, etc., it does not do that automatically since it resides on your computer & not in the cloud, also remember is a no cost program ... although I suggest at least a $10 donation. There is also a support forum at https://www.flexibleretirementplanner.com/support/
