But, that's exactly what a convincing AI would say!

I experimented with Gemini using an old dormant Gmail account I used to use for a special purpose. The output sounded good but it was obvious to me that anyone who even remotely knows me would spot it as manufactured. In order to re-edit the text to "sound like me" would have been just as much work as writing it myself.
