I'm 54 as well and am 100% in the S&P 500 index fund in our plan as it has the lowest ER and none of the other options justify their higher prices. Just keep DCAing into the fund - sometimes it will be topping when you buy, true, but once it pulls-back your next contribution will be buying the same fund "on sale". The stock market is kind-of like two steps forward, one step back - forward progress is still being made, however. Don't worry about AA in your Roth - handle AA outside of the Roth because you want that account to get as fat as possible - 100% equities IMHO.
