Personal Investments • Where to cap 529 contributions?

Lots of threads on this on the forum, but the plurality opinion around here eems to be: "enough to fully-fund 4 years in-state tuition at the top (or most expensive) public university in your state." Some people throw room and board in that, others do not (argument being that's about what you'd be spending if the child was still living at home). Though others have different views, I too follow the plurality approach.
