Thanks for all the advice. I agree, it is never good to make a life-changing decision based on emotion. I try hard to make fact-based decisions.
However, I feel like every day that goes by with me still on payroll signals to them that I'm okay with what is going on. And I am not okay with it, at all.
They keep throwing money at me thinking it will have holding and silencing power. At some point my dignity is worth something.
$475K top-line is a lot of money but 25 years from now will I look back and feel good about being an obidient employee and working one more year - or will I wish I had that extra year for myself?
Most contributors here seem to think I will be okay, financially. I appreciate the group's wisdom.
