Personal Consumer Issues • Intel Core i7 vs i5

In December 2022 I bought various components to have my dream computer custom built by someone.

I paid $420 for this 13th generation Intel i7.

I always go to that web site to compare the performances of various CPUs.

Though I've now owned that computer for 1.5 years I've barely used it as this computer purchased used in 2017 has continued to perform.

So far for the little I've used that custom built computer I've had no issues.
How would I know if mine is having any issues? What should be my level of concern here? Since my computer was custom built and the cpu was therefore bought in a box I assume I have a warranty on it until December 2025? But some here are saying that is a worthless warranty?
Received this response from the person who built my custom built computer using that 13th generation cpu:

"Most of the issues I have seen were with gamers that use their computers a lot at high CPU usage or servers. Intel is going to release an update in August at some point to fix it. The issue is general system instability. Since you haven't really used the computer much, I doubt you will see any issues."
