Would you mind sharing your experience with this ETF a bit? I hold BND and also individual treasuries (typically one year). Would buying the ETF above that matures in one year be very similar to buying several treasuries that mature within a year but at different times? Would one come out at pretty much the same place in terms of return on investment?Check out the IBond series from Blackrock:

You buy a basket of bonds in an ETF wrapper, and it matures like an individual bond.
Also, the reason I buy individual treasuries is that you can be sure that you will get your principal back when it matures. Is the same true for such an ETF if you hold it to maturity?
