But yes, I'd throw TIPS and I bonds into the same broader category. Most are limited in how much of that can be I bonds by the annual purchase limit. The vast majority of mine are TIPS.Thank you, WCI - would the original 20% TIPs allocation recommendation be split to include ibonds? Thank you again.I include both TIPS and I bonds into my 10% allocation to inflation-indexed bonds.Fee-based means they charge fees and commissions. Fee-only is the term most people mean and want.
