Minus the poor nutrition comment, I know at least a dozen people that have lived like this. Now with the expanded remote work environment, I wouldn't be surprised if there are thousands of people making $200k+ living like this.OMG, the first time I read this, I thought you were serious. Then I read it a second time because I was going to argue, point by point. It does sound like how I lived when I was in college, though. It is very possible. Everyone should save 50% of their income.
Just takes some effort.
Eat every other day and make sure everything is bought on price reduction, a day old or leftover.
Don’t get sick.
No vacations.
No silly entertainment expenses like Netflix or cable.
Hitchhike to and from work or ride a bike.
Buy all your toys, clothes, furniture second hand.
Ask your neighbor if you can use their WiFi but first ask them if they have a spare IPad you can use.
Cut all your own hair.
Hopefully live close to a dental college for free or heavily discounted dental work.
You don’t need heat or air conditioning, others are just spoiled.
Now enjoy those savings by gathering nightly as a family and celebrating your savings account!
Well played, my friend.
