Things to change.
- look harder for a job with 401k. I didn’t have one for 6 years at start of career.
- put something into Roth every year it was available.
- read Bogle books > use index funds in IRA
- Eliminate use of advisors who put me into managed higher 3xpense gunds.
Things I did well
- kept increasing percent put into 401k until it was 15%
- didn’t stop 401k contributions at any time
- went beyond 15% to max contributions 7-8 yrs of work.
Pretty happy with results in retirements.
