Thanks. Dw and I come from lower middle households. That hasn’t stopped us from lifestyle creep/run! But at least it’s in discretionary areas which can be slowed down if needed.Interesting point.It’s just eye opening when you look at the general public, and realize how lucky we are to be in the situations we’re in to discuss a topic like this.

Controlling and lowering retirement expenses and costs can be a "game changer" for lifestyle and "peace of mind".
Certainly, things can be done that have an immediate financial effect, this way.

Been a stressful few days at w*rk and she agreed when I said we could live off our nest egg, if we’re a bit more careful vs. facing stress like this in my mid 50s (which is what my worst nightmares are lol)
