Personal Investments • Getting nervous about US equity valuations

I don’t have rebalancing bands but did recently shift to be more conservative. More due to being 5 years away from desired retirement date.

What helps me (I also don’t have a written ips) is to have some guidelines I do follow. No less than 60% equity. No more than 80% equity. Right around 70% seems a sweet spot for now.

Off topic, but I feel like post election will be turbulent. More importantly I see higher joblessness continue thru next year. I’m seeing targets to reduce cost/headcount based on AI/automation that was not being discussed until now. I’d put money on that 2025 will be worse than 2024 for US markets (I couldn’t resist that 💴 📉)
