Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Do you use the perks of a higher tier checking account? (specifically Chase Sapphire)

Sapphire Banking is nice for the unlimited international ATM rebates and no foreign exchange fee, free checks for the one time you’ll order them, mostly all free bank services, and the US based customer service line that’s significantly better than their standard call centers.

If you have the funds then there’s no reason not to have it. You can stick it mostly in VUSXX to qualify too.
I'm assuming that any ETF would qualify and you wouldn't need to stick it in a money market fund?

The thing with Chase is they offer some juicy new account bonuses - for that reason I've tended to not use them as primary even though I do tend to like their website more than other banks, I mean, I just signed up for another $900 today....it's not nothing.

I think Schwab offers most of those same perks without any sort of balance requirements.
