DW and I fully intend on leaving a considerable amount for our two kids. Currently around $2MM and if all goes to plan in about a four decades (I hope) we're looking at $10MM at a minimum. Of course, we don't let the kids know about it (that'd be dumb) and instead emphasize on education so they can earn and live independent by themselves. Ideally, this wealth would be seen as more of an inter-generational wealth that will just be left to grow over our future generations.
