Need some help on figuring out how to allocate a porfolio for a 60 year who is nearing retirement and has been holding $600,000 in 95% BND, 5% VXUS. What is the best way to reshuffle the portfolio?
-Plans to retire as early as 65-67 y/o
-Expects pension of $300/month
-Annual spend is likely $40-50k /year
-Lives in California
-Currently makes 70k/yr
Will they have SS? If so how much. Agree with Lawrence of Suburbia that the heavy bonds and no US equities is way off.

Maybe they should hold 60% equities and 40 % bonds. Their equities should maybe be 70% VTI and 30% VXUS. Their portfolio is not reasonable too bond heavy and the equities are not diversified properly.
