Personal Investments • Need help with allocation of funds

Didn’t realize you are a Federal employee.

I suggest rolling over that Rollover IRA to TSP, and use the C fund, I fund and G fund instead using Duckie’s guidance. Substitute C for FSKAX, I for FTIHX and G for FXNAX from his recommendation

Keep away from bond funds like FXNAX. They lose value. If the purpose of investing in a bond fund is for safety, “a store of value” to draw upon when everything is going to hell in a hand basket in the stocks universe, the G fund will come to your rescue. The G fund is a unicorn that gives you same yields as an intermediate term bond fund like FXNAX, but NEVER lose value. No such guarantees with FXNAX.

You wouldn’t believe how wonderful that feature is, if you haven’t lived through 2022 with substantial assets in an intermediate term bond fund. Ask me (or actually don’t) how I know.
Since I already rolled it over to fidelity, can I do another roll over to TSP? I like the fact that it never loses value. Following Duckie's advice I'm thinking I'll change my funds currently in TSP to the G fund and convert all my accounts in fidelity to stocks; split between US and international..my only bond allocation will then be the TSP fund.
