You certainly don’t have anything to lose by applying for Plan G-HD, so go for it. Good luck.The way the agent stated it, state laws have minimum requirements for GI but insurance companies can exceed the minimum if they want to.
Maybe this is just another marketing strategy by UA, to get more new customers. A while back they were offering a switch from HD-G to G with no underwriting. Sounds crazy but their rates for G are higher than most so yeah maybe that would work.
