Right, but when you say you prefer McDs > Dunkin’ > Starbucks, are you drinking their black coffee? I was quite underwhelmed by the first two. With cream and sugar it tasted fine.finite_difference,
Do you drink it black? Have you tried the light roast? The normal coffee at Starbucks is dark roast.
A) I home roast my coffee 100g at a time.
B) I have tasted 100+ coffee bean from different sources. And, I have home roasted 100+ green coffee beans at home.
C) I tasted coffee from Starbuck versus my local micro coffee roaster that roast 25 pounds to 50 pounds at a time.
D) And, it depends on how you brew your coffee too. I do pour over. In the case of espresso, you probably cannot tell the difference.
E) If you never have coffee bean from a small batch coffee roaster, you probably could not tell the difference. You would assume whatever bitterness that you tasted is from the coffee.
