I was the trustee of my mom’s revocable trust, and personal representative of her estate. Trust assets were transferred to the beneficiaries within a month. The estate was closed within 10 months. There was no real estate involved, but several hundred thousand dollars worth of paper EE bonds took several months to transfer to the beneficiaries.
