Thanks for the heads up on SS. A large portion of our SS is already taxed. I ran a simulation in Turbo Tax where I included various roth conversions in last years return to see where it would push me to a higher bracket. I then backed off some to comfortably stay at 22% tax on the converted amount. I have tried to really think this thru and cover all the potential issues. Hopefully I have not missed anything, 2024 taxes will be the true test.
