Cognitive dissonance.Why is it always said "they don't tell you about their losses" by the people who never invest in individual stocks?
BH belief strongly reinforces the idea that the average investor can't beat the market consistently.
So if the average investor has some wins, on average they probably have some losses, too.
However, some people aren't average and might actually be skilled (maybe) or just lucky (quite possible) and defy the average.
