WAM has built up a substantial knowledge base over the year's so imo "manager risk" is small, I think the AAs and macro conditions would more likely be the sources of underperformance. Sure, a new/undiscovered combination of fundamentals could reveal a needed change.I'm always tempted to pile a larger % of my portfolio into Wellington/Wellesley, but worry that their amazing actively-managed performance is probably in the rear-view mirror.
re D&C...Recently I went back and checked both funds' loss during market drops and both dropped quite a bit, at most I'd be putting 7.5% in. I'm also thinking about FSRRX down the road.
