Cult of equities (especially use LCG/tech) exhibit # 2238I'm turning 45 this Spring. I have 3 fund portfolio which will be consisting of VTSAX, VTIAX, VBTLX (but no S&P 500). I read Bogleheads Guide To Investing and know only the most very basics, or not even that it feels like.
All I know is I need my portfolio to grow to at least 2M by age 60, hopefully a lot sooner! I will be funding it along the way of course to accelerate its growth. I am very simple minded. I hate to complicate things. My chicken brain needs to keep things simple as possible. After I sell my house this year or next year I will have about 400k or 500k to invest.
This didn't happen even a year ago, now it's every week at least once that I see a forum message like this one.
