To me, there is a need for clarity and, unfortunately, it'll need to be done sooner rather than later although this is such an overwhelming issue that it's understandable that people are just paralyzed.

Here, the first order of business would be to see if payments continued to be made in 2023 and 2024, since the FAIR plan is saying that the policy was canceled in 2022. If there are records of payments being made, that's a pretty good case for a clerical error on their end which they should have no problem correcting. If there is no evidence of payment throughout 2023 and 2024, that's a problem of a different issue and that will be more difficult to correct.

For all of us, it's a good reminder that we should have entries on our calendars when any insurance annual premium is generally due--both medical and dwelling--because sometimes these things do fall through the cracks. Losing coverage can be devastating. I've definitely seen patients who have had their health insurance canceled because premiums were not paid because of IT-related issues.
