Same boat as the OP. Going to be below 0° during the night for three days. What is the proper way to drip water from a faucet?

Do you have to drip from every faucet in the house?
Do you have to drip from both cold and hot faucets?
Thanks.

Francis
I'm a long-time dripper!

If I'm a little worried, I drip (actually the thinnest steady stream I can manage) from a cold faucet farthest from where the water line enters the crawl space.

If I'm moderately worried, in addition to the above I will fast drip from a hot faucet distant from the water heater as well.

If I'm very worried, I will speed that hot drip to the smallest steady stream I can manage and add another thin stream from another cold faucet distant from the first.

I plan to be doing the last for three or four nights this week--and possibly letting a cold faucet drip/stream during a day or two.

So far, so good, but YMMV.
I'm hoping my own good run continues, but there are no guarantees.

ETA: The reason I usually prefer a steady stream is that I have discovered that when a lot of people are also dripping, the water pressure can drop and a fast drip can become a slow drip or even no drip. That's not a risk I wish to take.
Good information. Thank you.
