The majority of the premium is for liability insurance, especially with a teen driver. Insuring for damages to your own cars is only a small part of it.Sell all 3 vehicles and replace them with 20 year old Toyota Corollas. Twenty year old cars are basically disposable so you don't need comprehensive or collision on them. Teenagers (and their friends) are also much less likely to want to be seen riding around in old cars so accident exposure on the road may be more limited.
While I agree that newer cars provide additional safety features I think they are of most value to inattentive drivers.
