I tried to find specifically the presumably US specific ``High Dividend Yield Index'' but was unsuccessful.

I would not be surprised if the same formula is used for the US index to select high dividend yield stocks.

For whatever reason, the FTSE top 10 constituents is all US stocks,
but dropped AVGO and WMT compared to 12/31/2024 Vanguard portfolio composition:

Maybe it takes time for the index update to propagate?
