I'm sure I was able to import an old mutual fund account into TT. I did it a couple of weeks ago for a relative with 10 mutual funds in the account. Now the option is gone. Everything downloaded except the "US gov't interest" part, which had to be calculated and entered by hand. In any case, yes, you have to add your data from the mutual fund account in addition to the new brokerage account.
