I'm very much a Vanguard person myself, but i did move one modest account to Fidelity last year as an emergency backup in case my Vanguard accounts became temporarily unavailable for any reason. It seemed a prudent thing to do, not to have absolutely everything with one company. Even though it is a bit annoying to have that one oddball account now.
