I might not understand but if the wood was broken, didn't you repair it?I have a generic 3-seater couch with recliners on the 2 end seats. One of the wooden supports under the seat snapped, and the cushion completely sagged/collapsed immediately. I plugged it with some pillows/cushions but it's still pretty uncomfortable and uneven, and it feels like the sagging is spreading to the middle cushion. .
