Thanks to the 401K, good or bad, it’s a different world than from even 20 years ago. Affluent retired and retiring Boomers are now dependent on managing their own stock and bond portfolio. Sequence of returns risk is a serious problem to be managed.
Managing your own stock and bond portfolio isn’t hard. At least I hope it’s not since if I bite it my wife’s instructions for portfolio management fit on an index card. (Seriously)
Can you share this card? I’d love to see it. My spouse would benefit greatly from brevity, which I do not excel in.
