10 minutes sounds atypically easy. Is yours accessible from inside the unit?I just changed the drain pump on my LG washing machine for a $40 part on Amazon and 10 minutes on YouTube. You may have similar luck on your dishwasher.
For our Bosch 300-series, both the drain and the circulating pumps are under the unit. That means accessing them requires disconnecting the supply and drain hoses and electrical (ours is on a plug, simplifying the latter part), unscrewing it from the counter, and sliding it out from its recess so it can be tilted back. That alone takes at least 15 minutes, and slightly more to do the reverse.
Last time I had to pull mine, I was working on a door issue, not a pump issue, so I can't speak directly to the accessibility of the pump, but I'm pretty sure hand access is rather tight.
I'd still definitely go for replacing the pump myself, and I think most moderately handy people can do it, but I wouldn't want to set expectations too low. I'd plan for a couple hours, including looking up some helpful Youtube videos to help figure out what needs to be disconnected and where.
