Technically it should be taxed when you import it back to the US, because it surely exceeds the $800 allowance threshold, and the no tax in Germany is only so you will be properly taxed at the point of consumption (=the US).Rimowa has lifetime warranty now. We buy Rimowa in Germany as it’s 1/3 off US and no tax. Also you get German made Rimowa vs Canadian made in the US. Rimowa has changed since LVMH bought them. Pursuing more of luxury image.
