Personal Investments • Can you Tax Loss Harvest crypto ETF’s or actual coins?

What can you Tax Loss Harvest with Bitcoin and Ethereum? Can you TLH them with each other? There are several ETF’s that track only Bitcoin and Ethereum. Then there are some ETFs that are futures contracts for Bitcoin. I don’t know how future’s are different, but those were the first Bitcoin ETFs if I remember correctly.

Is this different if we are looking at ETFs compared to the actual coins? Can you TLH crypto coins themselves in a wallet or exchange for like, but not identical coins?
I am not sure if this question is allowed as crypto is considered off topic, but per Forbes TLH crypto is not the same as stocks. https://www.forbes.com/sites/shehanchan ... arvesting/
Unlike stocks, cryptocurrencies and NFTs are exempt from the wash sale rule, meaning you can sell and repurchase the same asset immediately.
I have no idea if that is accurate and would suggest buying back stock index funds for the long term as they are more productive and less speculative.
