Actually you wrote "There is enough overlap that all the same sectors are covered." viewtopic.php?p=8499338#p8499338

Would I be correct that you can't find a US equivalent of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton or Hermès?

Do you think the next LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton or Hermès will be founded in the United States?

Are you willing to miss that possibility?
I'm definitely willing to give you my Louis Vuitton if you give me your Google and Amazon!

Yes I'm willing to miss the next Louis Vuitton, especially since I think there is a limited market for luxury goods. I'm willing to miss the next LV if that means I don't miss the next AMZN and GOOG! I don't know where the next LV will be listed. I do NOT think the next GOOG and AMZN will be listed on the European market when it comes out. I DO think the next GOOG and AMZN will be listed on the USA market. So if I have to choose... I choose AI or chips or what have you over luxury purses.

Although I have different thoughts on domestic vs. international, it has been enlightening and enjoyable reading your posts.

It seems you have mainly been comparing and contrasting domestic equities to Europe (Eurozone is about 7.3% of the market) and China. I would be interested to hear your thoughts on the rest of the world. Thanks!
