Before putting additional savings in taxable, you should look into tax-deferred savings with this plan. Tax-deferred beats taxable for most folks.
Thank you so much for posting the link...I'm embarrassed and this is unbelievable.

I have worked under the Public Employees Retirement System for 30 years and never knew there was a 457 plan option until you mentioned it. NONE of my coworkers, to include our benefits coordinator knew about it, so I messaged a buddy of mine who works for another state agency and he hadn't heard about it either; this is so sad.

Anyhow, this definitely provides me with a tax-deferred option vs. taxable; thanks again Navillus1968.
