ChooseFI has a great new episode on Safe Withdrawal Rates. The point is made that 3.25% is the absolute lowest they would go for portfolio longevity and 4% is a good starting point for early retirees. If you're retiring at 60-65 and have some SS and your budget has a discretionary component in it (which it should) that you can adjust, I would start with 5% without hesitation.
