I had the PSA test several times the last few years.
My labs have always been free with Humana Medicare Advantage PPO. How my PCP is coding things seems to be working 100% of the time.
Since a couple of tests were done with less than one year apart, not sure about the "one year and a day" time requirement.
I turned 72 this July, FWIW.

If the test wasn't free, I would pay the $69 it would cost at LabCorp every couple of years or so.
Although some tests in general might not move the needle much for evaluating the health in a particular segment, and thus be thought of as a waste, I'm sure those who had an issue that tests might have caught earlier would not agree the test was a waste.
