The low AUM is one reason I'm just buying a share a month, I don't want to put any serious money into these until they seem sure to stick around, and none of it in taxable so no tax ramifications if they go kaput.bid/ask spread is one indicator for liquidity, but not the only indicator. Average volume (daily or 90-days) is another indicator. And, most importantly, AUM is perhaps the predictive indicator when market goes through choppiness.
None of these ETFs have any AUM to write home about. Just be careful out there.
That said, I'm pretty confident Blackrock will keep these around, I really believe asset allocation ETFs and TDF ETFs will be huge in the future.
