Personal Finance (Not Investing) • Roth Conversions from tIRA but contributions were mostly post tax

After one reaches age 59.5, assuming one's Roth IRA is well-aged (>25 years in my case), do one's old Form 8606's and/or the up-to-date balances of one's contribution basis and conversion basis ever come into play? In other words, will a Roth IRA distribution in retirement ever require the filing of a corresponding, historically accurate Form 8606, or reference the information on an old one, if the distribution is tax-free?
If your Roth IRA distribution is qualified, you do not need to do anything with form 8606. This will be shown by a Q or T on your form 1099-R for the distribution (and having met the 5 year rule if it shows T).
