I agree with Kenkat about the risk of buying a stolen phone. I would only buy one from FB Marketplace if:
1. The seller's profile looks like a real person with a plausible history
2. The seller doesn't give me any bad vibes
3. The seller will meet me in person at a neutral location and accept cash (as opposed to shipping, Venmo/Paypal, etc.). Often police stations have a designed meetup spot you can use.
