Basically after we hit the GFC lows and starting from there, we have never had 2 years without hitting a nominal all time high.
The probability is very low because of the guardrails in place. The leverage in the system is very high. Stocks cannot even tolerate a > 20% drop now without hedge funds and banks going under.
Yellen had said there is unlikely to be another crisis in our lifetime and also suggested the fed could buy stocks and corporate bonds. They already did the corporate bond thing during COVID to stabilize the market. They will do the same for equities when the time comes.
