This is a good point. I'm too young for RMDs, but when I start taking them I plan to max out the QCDs. My charitable giving, which is low right now, will increase again then.
- After 70 1/2, We plan to give 25% of our RMD (this is a key lever for adjusting our Marginal Tax Bracket).
