Wouldn't it be cool if personal finance and investing were simple enough that questions like this could be reliably answered. What your friends are really asking is what is going to have the best return in the next year or two. And the answer to that is "nobody knows." That's why this investing stuff is hard.3 friends in the last two weeks have told me they have too much cash in money markets now that interest rates are going to fall. They worry about the stock market is at a high mark, and don't necessarily want to move money there. Each has some bond exposure. Q is, where to put the cash??
