Maybe Schedule SE as well?

I'd let tax-prep software deal with it.
No special action required, as this will definitely get picked up in tax prep, which will include payment of Social Security and Medicare taxes on her Schedule C earnings.
Thanks both. I know what to do on the 1040 (I think) but my question was more about SSA procedures for "changes in income," especially if monthly Schedule C income exceeds $1,950/month.

In some places on the SSA website the SSA indicates it looks at the annual Schedule C amounts for exceeding the allowed income ($23,400), but in other places it looks like they examine it month-by-month ($1,950).
