Submitting form 44 saying that you retired in 2025 and so your income would be under the IRMAA limit can indeed have IRMAA retracted for 2025.

Continuing to say "My income for 2026 will also be under the IRMAA limit" is equal to saying "I mumbo dogface to the banana patch in 2026". They will do nothing with any information outside of 2025.

You can re-file in 2026. If you do, what will be your life changing event? I'm not saying you can't. But don't be surprised to not have your IRMAA continue.
The LCE was retirement in '25, a reduction of wages due to retirement. For example, let's assume OP's MAGI is $350k per year (nearly all salary to keep it simple), clearly IRMAA territory. Further assume, OP retires on Jan 1 '25; yet income in '23 & '24 IRMAA MAGI includes that salary, which has now gone to zero for '25 and for '26.

Requests for Reconsideration for '25 and '26 should be nbd. Note, OP, that your '27 IRMAA calc is based on your '25 MAGI, which has already dropped by your loss of income. No Reconsideration necessary.

I had no trouble getting two years of IRMAA zeroed out.
