When I looked a few days ago, I saw the exact same thing with the Humana Basic and Value plans. When I looked closer I found a footnote saying something to the effect that the covered drug(s) is priced a full retail because the plan does not provide coverage at the “selected frequency.”
Again, Medicare.gov explicitly states that ALL my wife's medications are covered by both plans. This may be an error since plan 2 lists one of them as costing $3000 annually. But assuming this information is correct, what are the answers to my original two questions?
The frequency that I had selected was for 3X pills once every 90 days. When I changed the frequency to 1X pills every 30 days, the drug was magically covered as expected. Clearly this one of the bugs in the site that always occurs before and early in the open season for plan changes. I predict that when you check back in November the bug will be fixed.
