Personal Consumer Issues • Been to Norway?

By the way, in all of Scandinavia, drinking and driving is a no-no.
In general, I think drinking and driving is a big no-no. Sadly, I lost a cousin to a drunk driver. At the same time, I think I know what you are saying - the laws in Norway are very stringent and one drink would put many people over the limit. I apply the same caution in USA. If I have even one drink, I'm not driving.
In the US having a beer with dinner and driving home is legal. And probably OK. Not so in Scandinavia.

A consequence of this- if you're going out to dinner and having a drink, you might just as well have several, because either way you're going to be paying for a taxi to get you home.
